Course Description: In this course we will read and discuss, at sight (i.e, without the expectation of preparing text ahead of time) tantum Latine (as much as possible!) selections from Cicero's De Amicitia.

INSTRUCTOR

Michael D. Sweet

Michael "Meletus" Sweet teaches Latin full time to students from Kindergarten to 6th grade at Hyde Park School, a public school in Cincinnati, OH, and privately tutors students in person and online. He received his B.A. in Philosophy at Hiram College, as well as Master's Degrees in Philosophy and Latin Literature from Kent State University. He has also been a participant in the Paideia Institute’s Living Latin in Rome, Living Latin in Paris, Living Latin in New York, as well as SALVI’s Rusticatio OmnibusRusticatio Veteranorum, and Bidua in addition to many other Living/Spoken Latin events over the last 6 years.
