Dante's Inferno (Advanced Italian Conversation)

Course Description: This course is a continuation of an online reading group focused on the works of Dante’s Divine Comedy. Participants read and discuss the text of Dante in Italian, making reference to commentaries in Italian and English. The course practices slow reading, covering approximately 30 verses of poetry per week. The group is currently reading Canto XXIII of the Inferno.

INSTRUCTOR
ENZO NARDI
Enzo Nardi received his PhD in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He is a free researcher, author of studies in the field of theology and translator from some European languages. For many years he has accompanied students of different nationalities in learning and perfecting the Italian language. At the Paideia Institute he has been collaborating in teaching Italian for several years.
