Introductory Intensive Greek w/ Teichmann

Course Description : This class is an intensive introduction to the ancient Greek language. We will work together through the first book of Athenaze, which covers the most important elements of Greek grammar and syntax while at the same time giving insights into ancient Greek culture and customs. The knowledge acquired in class will be deepened through homework assignments. A continuation of the class (based on volume two of Athenaze) can be offered for the next term of Telepaideia, depending on students‘ interests to continue and deepen their studies.

INSTRUCTOR
Jenny Teichmann
Jenny studied German and Slavic philology in Greifswald, European Cultural History in Frankfurt/Oder, and Classics at Humboldt University Berlin. She is the co-founder of the online language school Triodos Trivium which promotes the active use of Ancient Greek and Latin. Together with Rogelio Toledo she runs a popular Ancient Greek Youtube channel under the same name.
