Course Description: This course features a close reading and discussion of Augustine's Confessions. This course is an ongoing course. We are currently in the middle of Book 6. We welcome all students. Our close reading allows for engagement with questions and comments.

Andy Montgomery is an Associate Professor of Classics at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to over a decade of reading and teaching the Confessions regularly, he has an interest in Late Republican and Triumviral Latin literature, especially Sallust.
