This textbook presents the print edition of the Paideia Institute's curriculum designed to prepare students for the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP®) Latin Exam. Available in hardcover and paperback, the textbook includes a rich and thorough commentary and additional material on topics in Roman history and culture relevant to the course texts. Its accompanying student workbook offers a wide array of practice exercises to review and test the grammar and vocabulary learned in each chapter. These print editions can be used independently as classroom textbooks or as a companion to the self-paced online course.
The content of the course aligns with the recent revisions made to the AP® Latin curriculum (effective as of the 2025-2026 academic year), which include updates to the selections from Vergil's Aeneid and replacing Caesar with Pliny the Younger.
